Today, 10 years ago, my dad went to be with the Lord. I am thankful for Gods Grace. Thankful for Gods saving Grace. There are no words to describe accurately how wonderful of a man my dad was, and not a day goes by where I dont do something, or say something where I find myself saying, dad, you taught me this, or dad you told me this. I am ever grateful for the love, the discipline, and the encouragement my dad gave me for it has made me the man I am today, yet I still remember tagging along behind him trying to match his walk and trying to fill his shoe print. My dad is my hero and always has been. I look forward to the day when I can see him again and tell him in person what Ive wanted to for 10 years, dad, thank you for everything, and dad, I love you. May the Lord bless you this evening, and if your dad is alive, dont let a moment pass by without telling him you love him, no matter how old you are.
