Today, 14 years ago, I sat in complete awe of a 8lb 11oz., baby girl with a head full of black hair and cutest lips and nose. You know, people had a lot to say about a girl having a baby and getting married all before 18. I took it all...because at that moment... holding her with her Dad...our lives changed forever. And Id take it all over again to have this amazing girl in my world. No baby is an accident. God had a greater plan then my young heart could begin to understand. She is so smart, funny, incredibly beautiful, and she is going to do great things. I may want to wring her neck most days for just being a teenager but she still gives me hugs, tells me she loves me, and isnt embarrassed by me (yet). That hair turned into a beautiful gold. I look into her eyes and see my eyes, and she has every single one of her Dads traits that drive me up the wall. But shes my baby. Happy 14th Birthday Kaitlyn Natalie!!! Thank you for not being anything like me at 14! God had mercy on me. Dont think Ill be as lucky with the other 3. LOL
