Today, 26th April 1991, An Innocent girl hardly known to me, crying in the hotel lobby, parted her family n friends, attitude, desires n habits to spend life with me after marriage. All these long hectic blissful years she stood by me, strengthening me to take the challenges of life. She presented me with most precious gift of nature my lovely daughter and handsome son. She stood by me in all my successes n failures, health n ailments, joys n sorrows, long journeys, toughest testing times, consoled me at the death of my dears n nears, sharing all her strength with me. In 1999 during escalation period, when war was imminent, She left Lahore n returned to my location in the battlefield, telling her parents that if waseem dies in battle then she ll not like to live anymore, so she multiplied my strength n strength of my under command n their families to face the enemy n face them bravely. She lived with me in most deserted locations where nearest clean drinking water source was some 90 kilometers n nearest health facility was 120 kilometers away, ever smiling n encouraging. Being a doctor, she went to deep n far flung areas with me n my health teams to serve people suffering chronic diseases. A God Fearing, passionate n most caring physician who restlessly served needy people. I honor, respect n love my wife n wish her success here n hereafter.
