Today 40 years ago Ann, Ian n myself came to Australia to live for ever ,we havent made it yet,however, Ann n I will both be retired in April ( Ann last Dec.) we have loved our lives here and are proud Aussies( still love Wigan and all my family n friends of course) We were due to arrive in Darwin 1974 sadly cyclone Tracey put a stop to that . We settled in Melbourne for 20 yrs n a further 20 yrs in Qld. We love living in Mudgeeraba and always will. We made many friends over that time .We also had our second son Gary ( first real Aussie ,however,we have plenty others ( more to come) Jasmine,Ashlee,Cooper n our daughter in law Mayumi. We all live together and we wouldnt have it any other way ,lifes good ,Thanks for having us Australia ,look forward to 50 yrs Alan n Ann xx
