Today, 43 years ago at the First Christian Church in Paonia, Jerre and I were married.Steve and Connie Allyn stood up with us. Had a small reception at my grand parents house on Fruitland Mesa and headed out for Lake City. Someone at the reception put rice down inside the heater vents of our car and it blew rice for many years afterwards everytime we turned the heater on. Our adventure began with a trip over Cinnamon Pass in a Mercury Comet car(a four-wheel drive only road) to Silverton. Dont know how we made it, but we did and here we are 43 years later!!!!
