Today (9/8/14) is a VERY SPECIAL DAY for my wife Maureen Ackroyd and myself as it is one year to the day that Maureen suffered her Cardiac Arrest. On that day it was very much touch and go whether she would survive or not. We were both in a traumatic state as she was fighting for her life and I was so distressed at the thought of possibly losing her. Maureen spent twelve and a half weeks in Hospital before coming home again. Her life has been changed forever, and as nobody knows what lies in their future life, we are just making the most of each day as it comes. Tomorrow (Sunday) the family are having a small party to celebrate the fact that Maureen is still with us. My I once again thank you all for your words of support during those dark days, and wish you all the best for your future.
