Today, Bonbeach St Chads Baseball Club would like to send its best wishes to one of its favorite sons. At 11 oclock, Micah Burch boards his flight to Boston where he has accepted a Research Fellowship at the prestigious Harvard University. While all at the club are immensely proud of Micahs achievements, and overjoyed for his momentous adventure ahead, there is no question that his absence will be heavily felt. A Victorian Provincial representative, a member of a Division 2 premiership team, OBrien medal winner, University Games Green and Gold (All Australian) and Monash University Sporting Blue recipient, not only will his gift for the game be missed, his humour, intelligence, wit, kindheartedness and overall upstanding character will leave its mark upon the whole club. His ivy league genius is only outstripped by the outstanding person Micah is. A better model of a caring, compassionate and genuine human being, you will not find. Micah will shortly be joined by his lovely wife Julianne, whose presence at the ball club is equally cherished, though were not quite ready to let her go just yet.
