Today, Californians have a unique opportunity to vote yes on the Prop 47 voter initiative that would reclassify six non-violent offenses charges from felonies to misdemeanors and end decades of harm caused by the states four-decade long mass incarceration experiment. Voters have a clear choice to make; do we continue to let lawmakers waste finite state resources and allow people to cycle in and out of the prison system?
