Today Dave had his knee replaced. He did very well. The doctor said his knee was very bad. The way they did his surgery was new to us. They used a saddle block and did not put him completely asleep. When he returned to the room he was awake and not in any pain. By the time the feeling returned to his leg they had given him pain meds. When I left him two hours later he was a little uncomfortable and they were ready to give him more meds. The discomfort was a lot less than he was expecting. We were both pleases.
