Today I accomplished what I’ve been working towards for the past twelve years. Starting on USS Mt. Whitney, a great school for me; a fantastic tour on USS Whidbey Island; three UNREAL years working directly for two presidents at Camp David; a short stopover at the VP’s house that I’D RATHER FORGET, but which gave me the opportunity to serve on the best ship on the waterfront, USS Harry S Truman. My intended punishment became my greatest success (ha, ha, ha). Thanks to all of you who have supported, encouraged, mentored, challenged, and believed in me over the years. You know who you are. And now, let initiation begin!
