Today, I am asking for prayers, well wishes, good thoughts, or whatever positivity you are willing to send towards my family. My biggest, little sister, Krista, had been very sick on and off for quite some time now. My mom took her back to Childrens hospital in Saint Louis yesterday and after tests and tests and bloodwork, Lupus was brought up. Now Lupus is a hard disease to diagnose. If youve ever watched House you should know that its almost always never Lupus but Lupus also mimics many other sicknesses and diseases, so its hard to say. Well I just talked to my mom and as of right now, its not Lupus(thank god), but it seems that Kristas appendix bursts sometimes ago and has been causing her horrible stomach pains, chills, hairloss, and other symptoms you can imagine that go along with something like that. So, the doctors, put a tube inside her to drain the pus and she will have to be in the hospital til at probably Saturday. She will be on IV antibiotics for six weeks, and if the infection is all gone, and shes well enough then they will take her appendix out. They will also be testing for other diseases and such, as they think that there is an underlying condition. So lease, dont take this as April Fools thing because it is one hundred percent serious. I wish more than anything that I could be home with my family right now. So please, keep them in your thoughts.
