Today I am back in Mill Valley & went to catch the last bus at 7pm to Bolinas so as to get out near the top of Mt Tam & bike up to the top & catch the sunset, but I miss it by a minute, so I bike over to hear Mort Sahl do comedy at 142 Throckmorton Theater. I sit down & am next to Robin Williams who I saw play Snoopy in Your a Good Man Charlie Brown in 1971 @ the College of Marin when I was just a wee young lad. Of course we have run into each other one or twice in the intervening 43 years. Anyway, I tell him about how our mutual friend Paul Krassner is writing a novel & I just today received a letter from Paul seeking anecdotes from the days of the Holy City Zoo comedy club (where Robin performed in the 70s) for his novel & pass on Pauls email & phone number. Networking/not working! Then I mention today is our other mutual friend Wavy Gravys 78th Birthday, & we toast the Gravy! Synchronicity/Kismet/Providence strikes once again!!! (Who writes this script?)
