Today I am proud to share that our new dynamite, Rwandan Peacemaker Team: Celine U Kayinamura (Team Leader), Uwiragiye Placide and Jack Yakubu Seleckta & 2 of Jacks friends, Hirwa Breezy Ashton (Chris)& TiTi carried food and some supplies high, high, high up a very long, steep way to Kimisagara Orphanage in Kigali. Now the children who live there, have rice, eggs, oil, sugar & soap. Today the children will eat! We also gladly learned they all are HIV tested 1X a month and the 4 children who are known to be HIV+ do get medicine. But sadly our Rwandan Peacemaker Team also report there are NO teachers, NO counselors, NO one to advocate for them, NO medical insurance, NO shoes for many of the children, NO paper or pencils, NO toys for the little ones and they are in serious need of clean water. Still, we did what we could, as fast as we could. Today was a good day.
