Today I am reminded how things can change in your life the dangers and fears we face, One second I was on the phone with my granddaughter Niya in the Middle, seconds later i received a frantic call from her she was crying and hysterical walking home from school, someone ran behind her and snached her Iphone, She was screaming and scared that someone has taken something from her, the fear of how someone can cause a fear of your safety, I told her not to worry about the phone, I could replace the phone not her. Losing her mother my only biological daughter Cassandra when Niya was 13 months old each day, each second I think of my baby Girl, I am always praying for her only child she left behind. Well Thank GOD I had the phone set to be tracked and she keeps it locked. We located the phone and the person, A 15 year old boy, as the police had him locked up in the back of the car. His mother in her work scrubbs was standing there in tears and so was I, This young man would be charged with Armed Robbery, and assault he would forever be part of the system. The Holy Spirit and my Savior filled my heart and spoke to me, My granddaughter had her phone and she was not physically hurt. I asked the officers to release the young man, We spoke to him and his mother and explained our decision that if he continues this path, he would not make it in this world. We gave him a chance because of my faith in GOD, I knew that I could not see him locked up, Had she been hurt physically I would have pursued charges I pray for his family that he Walks the right rode, and I am thankful to GOD my granddaughter is resting here in my home. She is shaken but safe. This is my testimony, Sometimes we have to leave it in GODs hands. Niya, her Mom my daughter Sandy 2/16/84 - 3/3/05 and me.
