Today I am thankful for a Nurse Practitioner named Dana and the nursing staff last night at Rapides. After fighting sinus and congestion crud for THREE AND A HALF WEEKS, and 4 different doctor visits that brushed me off, I finally found out that Andrew has early onset pneumonia that requires antibiotics. (Which, might I add I TOLD the doctor on the FIRST visit and every subsequent visit.) Anyway, she and the rest of the staff did several tests and a chest xray, which none of the other docs did. If SHE had told me there was nothing to do but wait it out, I would have believed her.
