Today I clung to the positives I found in each moment of the day. In todays sermon, I was reminded about the importance of taking life in baby steps. This is especially true when you go through difficult times. Ive known this, but clearly needed the reminder. Thus the reason for seeking the positives in each moment today. Seeking the positive takes you away from the negative that is in your life at the moment and it keeps you focused on THE ONE who gave you the positive. Today my moments added up to a lot of positive. I went one full day without any pain medicine for my back injury! Yay! My kids were happy and excited to be home with me. They also gave great feedback about my singing with the Praise Band today. I had help lifting heavy grocery bags. I had a positive interaction with my former spouse. My closest friends showed me their love and support as I work through and try to understand a confusing life situation. Finally, and this is really petty, but it makes me happy...my manicure has lasted a whole month. (Humor, especially at oneself, makes life grand!)
