Today, I decided to check out this place in Anaheim (really a neighboring city that Id never heard of) that sells wholesale only to glass (stained glass, fusing, etc.) people. Place called Hollander Glass. So, since I had the day to myself, I drove up there. Door to door took me about 2 hours and roughly 110 miles - each way. I have to admit, I had a really bad case of glass envy. There was this one piece of glass by Bullseye Glass Company that just really sang to me. But, it was a measly $135.00 - Ouch! It was tough, but I had to say No! to myself. I did go a little bit crazy, bought a new slumping mold along with several pieces of lesser expensive glass and still dropped about $140.00. But, hey, when the school kiln was unloaded yesterday, I had all 5 really successful pieces. Tonight, when I told my sweet man what I did today, he just shook his head and started laughing. Then, he said that he could clearly see a much bigger kiln (than the one I have) in my future. Thanks to my Creator for giving me the right person to share my life with.
