Today I did it........I really did it....... In the Linguistics Class I am taking, we all had to do a brief presentation throughout the semester about a different part of language, each having a different subject. I had Discourse. So naturally, after getting permission from the Professor, I did it on BAD ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF OLD JAPANESE GAMES. Started out with A WINNER IS YOU! from the old NES Pro-Wrestling game (Which I have not heard of save that quote.......) And then went on to examples from FInal Fantasy, mostly I GARLAND WILL KNOCK YOU ALL DOWN! with YOU SPOONY BARD! and THIS GUY ARE SICK! in there. Had to put in the old X-Men Arcade game due to it actually being a VOICE-ACTED example........X-MEN..........WELCOME TO DIE!!!!!! and of course, had to finish off with the Zero-Wing Intro......ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!! Got a lot of laughs, so Im happy. Better yet, the Professor decided to share a video he found to go with it of a girl singing Let It Go from Frozen, except after being Google translated into multiple languages, and then back into English.
