Today I finally shook the hand of the man who use to live across the street from us for the past 7 years. The sad fact is, it was at his wife of 60+ years visitation. They moved out this summer & she passed on New Years Eve. It really hit me that we need to put ourselves out there more & take the time to meet and get to know the people around us. Im glad I know him now but I think of all the wisdom & fellowship I might have missed out on. So, Ill resolve to take the time to do more than just wave or nod as I pass by. If youre alive you are blessed, life is a priceless gift. Appreciate every moment of it and those around you.
