Today I finished being on jury duty for 2 months. A very difficult capital case for which we delivered the ultimate penalty. Although it was very challenging emotionally, it was also an amazing experience. Our system may have flaws, but it does work. I am proud to see the passion that both the prosecution and the defense had for their case and the people they were representing. It is also good to see how seriously all the jurors took their job. It is good to live in the USA!
