Today I got a job to convert a Ku to C band antenna. 2 engineers r assigned cuz it is a dual antenna system. I m hoping to learn from this senior colleague who work wif de company for 6 yrs. B4 we change feed, he suddenly ask me where to unscrew the parts. I thought his question is weird but I still show him the places. Then I start to work on my antenna while he work on his. Shortly he came over to see my progress n comment that I work very fast. After I finish changing my feed, I walk over to his side n saw him sweating heavily n sitting beside his antenna. I ask him how is he. He reply that he couldnt change his feed. I saw that he remove the old feed but de new feed is not install yet. So I ask him if he need my help. He say yes. I told him I will help him change his feed if he can help me to install my waveguides. He end up observing me. Afterward he said my method is good, y he didnt think of that. I told him it is not easy wen I was doing it for de 1st time. No1 ever teach me n de manual did not explain it properly. So I end up completing that job by trial n error. Its strange he ask me stuff that I thought he shld aldy know. Maybe my expectation is too high.
