Today I had a client that I have done her moms hair for a few years, her mom has always talked bad about her daughter,belittled her, and always made her out to be the the one who needed counseling. Because she did not always agree with her mom and the way she thinks, the daughter was always considered crazy.After talking with the daughter, I realized that her mom is a control freak, over bearing, almost a mommy dearest kind of mom. I told her that she had a right to her own opinion,and if she could not deal with family situations it was ok for her to just leave and do her own thing. The moral of this is Mom dont be so high and mighty that you alienate your daughter because she thinks different than you!!
