Today I had an interview. As I was waiting to be called back I was observing the owner teaching a set of new employees. He was using horrible language and was talking all high and mighty of himself. Then he mentioned how competitive he was. He told a story about a promotion he and another employee were up against. He said he prayed that she would get into a car wreck or catch pneumonia. Then he said, Thank God her daycare didnt come through bc since she didnt have anyone to watch her kid she couldnt come into work and I got the promotion. I was livid!!!! I got out of my seat, walked up to the secretary and I told her I did not feel comfortable working for someone like that, threw my application in the trash and walked out. That is not ok!! How can someone get pleasure out of someone elses troubles? Taking that position would go against everything I stand for. I pray he finds peace after all this. This world is temporary. You dont get to take these things with you when you leave this Earth. What will God have to say about you when its your time??
