Today I had breakfast on the beach, took a spin on a carousel, had McConnells ice cream, climbed the tower of the Santa Barbara court house, saw a giant clock & gorgeous views, stopped at Coffee Cat, because they had me at cat, walked along the wharf, hopped back in the car and headed to Thousand Oaks, had a lovely outdoor dinner, saw another really great Mary Chapin Carpenter concert, had a post concert snack of pear-gorgonzola & strawberry-balsamic ice cream and then made it home without falling asleep.
