Today I had the pleasure of meeting the new ticket machines at the multi storey car park in Perth. Firstly, it took me a good five minutes to find the bloody things, as theyd all been moved! A sign, stated that they were located on the ground floor. I was on the ground floor - no machines! But wait...turns out, according to the attendant man, that theyre in the f@*king stairwell! Theres a mile long queue of pissed off looking people. Finally I get to said machine and it asks for the registration number! Well I dont bloody know, its my wifes car! Back to the car I go, take note of the reg number, get back to machine, where another queue has formed! Finally, I type in the reg number, then discover that old flat rate for a Sunday is no more! And typically, its £1.80 for 2 hours and I have £2. So not only did I end up confused and pissed off, Im down 20p! To summarise, these machines are now my 2nd item of hatred. 1st is still self service checkouts!
