Today I helped a young girl and her father shop at Pink Chandelier. The young girl had gone to the mall the day before on a little shopping spree of her own and bought the wrong size. Her father brought her back to the mall today to return and exchange everything she bought for the right size. This young girl has down syndrome. She walked in with a bright smile and said I need help. So, I helped her. The entire time she was at Pink Chandelier she constantly said Youre Awesome! and said she felt beautiful in everything she tried on. Her father spoke to me while she was in the change room and said Im sure you see that my daughter has down syndrome, thank you so much for being so patient. She really looks up to girls like you and when people are nice to her it makes her day. Thank you. I nearly cried. Its moments like this that remind me why I chose to pursue a career in fashion. To help people feel beautiful. Thank you to the young girl and her father who shopped with me today. You made my day too
