Today I made the hard decision to leave a job that paid me well and that I was pretty comfortable in. It came to a point where, as an employee, they had taken advantage of me for a few years, and never did anything except say thanks once in awhile. I put up with it because it was safe and paid my bills, but ultimately I wasnt happy anymore. The people I had started with and built the company with had moved on, and they were reluctant to move me into a better position that I felt I deserved. I became sort of lost in translation as management had changed a few times over the years. They couldnt provide me with any kind of picture of the future. My new gig comes with a bunch of questions too, but at least they showed that they wanted me, and are willing to try to make it work and show me a future. It was hard, but in the end I listened to my heart, despite the risk, and made the change. And Im ready. Oh, and Ill get to spend a lot more time with my fur daughter, Scarlet..so theres that! Onward. Bonesy PS if this new joint dont work out.. I may need a place to crash one day lol
