Today I played at the North Augusta Farmers Market in Verona Virginia. I love this particular Farmers Market because it blends locally grown food with health and wellness. Since I use a wireless microphone, I am able to roam around as much as my aching feet will let me (:-)). That lets me play "up close and personal" so to speak, with the people, and have some real fun with the kids. I got to see some old friends, meet some folks I only knew from FB, and make some new friends. I had brought my tankdrum as well as my flutes and it was fun to share that with people. Greg Burns sat in on his tankdrum as well and someone said we should record what we played...and maybe we will. I really love our community. The people are real, caring and sharing.
