Today I received an email from Boris Johnson begging me for £10 because he ran out of pocket money. He also told me not to be friends with Ed Miliband because hes stupid, looks like Wallace and never has any good ideas. I told him that name calling isnt very nice and if mommy Cameron said no to giving him more money then Im not going to give him any either. Its the only way hell learn. Victoria Jane, A few days ago, Ed Miliband gave a speech in which he called for substance to triumph over image. And of course he was right. It doesnt matter whether you look like Elle Macpherson or Jabba the Hutt - what counts is whether you have good, big ideas to turn Britain around. So, unlike 99.9 per cent of the population, I read every word of Milibands speech. I sieved it and strained it for the smallest crouton of substance - but found nothing. Where are the detailed plans to tackle educational inequality, to reform welfare, to give the country the homes it needs, to provide the infrastructure for Britain to compete? These ideas, these policies, are instead being driven forward by the Conservatives in government. How can Ed Miliband take this country forward if he is only offering more spending, more taxes, and more debt than future generations can ever hope to pay off? The answer is that he cant.
