Today I received the sweetest letter from one of the women - TopicsExpress

Today I received the sweetest letter from one of the women currently incarcerated in the Bleckley P.D.C. I was so uplifted by her testimony and although I cant share the entire letter I will give you this little tidbit: Ive just finished reading your book, Gone Fishin and let me tell you it hit the spot. I just feel a real connection to you now and I really just wanted you to know that you hooked me. So I read the prayer* at the very end and I prayed it too! I again accepted Christ into my heart and I know what I have to do now. I have to give Him my all! Give it all to Him. (*Prayer of Salvation) Last night Charlie and I ministered to approximately 150-200 men at Dooly Prison in Unadilla. Nothing lifts our spirits like the VOICES OF PRAISE* at this facility. These men knew we missed being with them last month because our son-in-law had been taken to Emory because of an illness. They had been praying and when we walked into the facility the first thing they wanted to know was, How is your son-in-law doing? They had been praying. (*Prison choir) Soon Charlie and I will begin a new adventure, ministering Christ in a Federal facility in McRae, GA. This particular prison has around 2200 illegal aliens in custody. We pray we can bring the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ to these men and that they in turn can go back to their countries when they are released as saved men, filled with the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. One of these days...AND SOON...Jesus is coming back. The only thing we can take to Heaven with us is SOULS! Lets do all we can to be Fishers of Men so the body of Christ will be complete and we can hear those words we have been waiting so long for...Come up. I have prepared a place for YOU! Even so. Come Lord Jesus. :-)
