Today I saw something that made me angry. I was reading one of the Travel Industry publications and a promotional piece about Pearl Harbor. What made me angry was the statement that WiFi is now available throughout the Battleship Missouri, so people can take selfies and post them on Twitter and Facebook while they are still on tour. Maybe I am old fashioned, BUT I have HAD IT with the people who do nothing but constantly use their cell phones and other devices of that type in public. I also worry that the signal will reach the Arizona Memorial. It is bad enough that many times there are completely disrespectful people at the Memorial, but I can just see the solitude and reverence that belongs in that location being disgraced by idiots. The picture I am posting is from The Mighty Mo where the Japanese surrendered to end WWII in The Pacific. It is hallowed ground as is all of Pearl Harbor and ESPECIALLY the Arizona Memorial..
