Today I saw something that seem so unfair and wrong. A mentally disabled young man was outside waiting for a ride to come pick him up. A tenant weight excessively 300 pounds saw the young disabled man. He began to shout to the lady who cleans the halls and does security. call the police!!! over and over. This created a hostile environment against a disabled person. The cleaning lady ask me what it was about. I told her the young man was waiting for a ride and he seem disoriented or disabled. He was not hurting himself or anyone else. I mentioned this to the office management of the rental property. The situation I let my my peace of mind was disrupted. I wondered if they discriminate against those who are disabled? I was told it was office procedure. I feel, that the tenant had no right to begin screaming. if he was concerned he should have discuss it with the property proprietors . I believe There should be some compassion for those less fortunate. The young man left the area where his ride was to pick him up. maybe missed his ride and was frightened away. Maybe its not a big deal but i feel a 300 pound intimidating looking man shouldnt be allowed to bully those weaker than himself. Some people need understanding and a gentle voice to be understood and if they are not harming anything by their presence. Shame on a policy that calls you down as a second class undesirable person because you are different and you can not help it. STOP BULLYING, STOP HURTING THOSE WHO CAN NOT HELP THEMSELVES.
