Today I should have been on the march for peace for the people of Palestine. We shouldnt watch and do nothing. I will at least post on my Facebook page. Rockets are being launched into Gaza which has one of the highest population densities in the world killing many day by day and which is blockaded making it a large prison about 30km by 8km with people in dire poverty. The Israeli govt receives military aid from the West making every one of us responsible. Rockets are being launched by the people of Gaza but they wont hit many targets as Israel has good defences. And what can one expect - for people to do nothing? I wonder if we can ever have peace in the circumstances, when one group of people feel and are dispossessed and struggle in poverty. I think Israelis need to understand this and ask themselves some tough questions. Otherwise there will be no peace - I dont think that even the flight or death of all the people of Gaza will achieve this.
