Today I taught my first class at Simpson University, registered my children for spring soccer, snuck in a coffee date and kisses with my hubby, finished writing the first chapter of my book, taught a fiery Zumba class at Sun Oaks, and made a healthy dinner for the 10 children who are currently scattered around my home. And my kitchen is clean. Of course, two days ago I yelled at my children, hid in the bathroom to find a few minutes of alone time, and ordered take out for dinner. Each day has its own unique flavor, doesnt it? What? Oh, you didnt know I was writing a book? Maybe that is because I have been guarding that little secret in case the whole thing goes south and my ideas dry up like the desert and if I say it OUT LOUD then I am ACTUALLY COMMITTED to doing it. Here I am. Saying it out loud. I am writing a book. I mean, I am not promising anything here. It might never be published. No one but my husband might ever read it. But I am going to do it. I will finish it. Be it in one year or seven. I am writing a book. #chasingmydream #myhandsareshaking
