Today I took a much needed sun-filled hike through the woods of the Canyon & a lengthy pit stop at the Heavenly spot of the Gordon Gitchell Lookout. The posse included Becca, Arrow, Roman , Tawny, & Luke. We spooked one turkey, who flew out of a nearby blowdown & flew up over our heads. Upon investigation I found no nest, but it was pretty thick, so I had to give up. There were loads of deer in the fields as we left for home.
