Today I visited The Bowland Forest Landmarks project at locations in the area. Four local artists were commissioned to produce sculptures to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Forest of Bowland as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The weather did not help photography but these images illustrate 3 of the sculptures (it was too dark when I arrived at the 4th) A visit to Riverbank Tea Rooms in Slaidburn helped to lift the gloom.
