Today I voted in support of the bipartisan omnibus 2014 appropriations bill. Given our current fiscal circumstances, I am pleased that we were able to come together and pass a bipartisan spending bill that rolls back disastrous spending cuts that have impacted the lives of everyday workers and families. This bill raises federal worker pay, restores $600 million in funding for disabled veterans and increases critical funding for Head Start programs that many families in my communities rely on.
