Today I walked all the way to the corner and back, did different strengthening exercises while sitting, then went to the kitchen and did exercises while standing at the sink. I think I am well on my way to give up physical therapy. I sat in the sun soaking up some vitamin D earlier. Two people called needing alterations. I have a prom dress to hem as well as three jackets that need the sleeves shortened. Now I have four pair of shorts that need elastic and two pair of pants to hem as well. Tonight my van will return home from the mechanic. I feel it will finally be safe to drive as I can trust the work was really done. Before, I was told things were done and they were not. I think it is time to go sew as I will need money to replace what it cost to really repair the van. No more broken belt, no more flat tire, no more squealing the power steering, and no more shimmy when I drive. Yes, all of that needed repaired. Beware buyer. I did not check it out before buying and have spent around $800 to get it road worthy. It was not so good a price after all.
