Today I want to tell a story about a little mustang that came to me last December from California. So not a Pauls Valley Mustang but this story is also about a little girl which is from Oklahoma. Last year I adopted a must from his trainer in Norco, CA. He was trained and shown in last years Mustang Million. I fell in love with him the moment I seen his picture. He was up for reassignment. Unfortunately I never made it to Texas to see him so he went back to California, where his owner decided to keep him. After a few month he was back for reassignment and I was so happy that I was be the one which can adopt him. So he came back to Oklahoma. I was a little surprised when he step out of the trailer and he was smaller as expected. This little fellow told me real fast that I was to heavy for him by parking and even laying down on me, and I listened. I friend rode him but circumstances made her quit riding him too. So this poor baby just stood around in the pasture and wasnt used. Then a friend of mine Shannon Elias told me she was looking for a smaller size horse for her grand daughter to show. I offered her Gunner aka Mingo and now Warrior. The day they came to see him, warrior walked up to the little girl sniffed her face and played with his lip on her cheek. I never seen him before being interested in a little girl. He always left when kids been around. Payton showed him now a couple times and brings every time prizes home. To make a long story short, I am so happy this little mustang made is way to me and found a little girl which loves him and that both have the chance to learn and grow together. And of course what a good way to promote those dangerous mustangs.
