Today I was reading about hazrat Ayesha(R.A). TBH i used to think why Allah asked Mohammed to get married to 9years old ayesha. Sometimes i used to read other histories which claim that ayesha was not 9, but 19… Still it was dubious as majority of histories claim that she was 9… anyways back to the point, She was 9 while marrying to Mohammed. She remained with Prophet for only ten years. She was very young when betrothed to Prophet, but she acquitted herself extremely well and proved herself an intelligent, faithful and loving wife of the greatest benefactor of mankind. She was the most authentic reporter of traditions of Prophet and the teachings of Islam, as propounded by Him. She was blessed with a proverbial memory and retained whatever questions were asked by the female callers to the Prophet and the replies given by him. Hazrat Ayesha was not destined to live with Prophet for a long. The union lasted only ten years when the Prophet died in 11 A.H., 632 A.C. So the answer which came into my mind is she was selected by God to serve Islam for a long after Mohammeds death. She was young and brilliant and a perfect choice to propagate Islam after Mohammed. In short she was GOD CHOSEN !
