Today, I was the person I would write about on the bus. This tends to happen when you have a laptop bag, a backpack with half of a computer monitor sticking out of it, and another monitor, wrapped in a trash bag, sitting on your lap. :) Sidenote: (Bus) Membership has its privileges. Case in point: Im staying at the AT&T conference center/hotel the last two nights Im in Austin next week. I reserved the rooms on Expedia getting the non-UT employee rate. My bad. Ended up sitting across from one of the front desk people (on his way to work) on the bus. Told him my story. He hooked me up with UT rate rooms, and a possible upgrade on check-on. Nice work, Mr. Baker (and Ms. Alicia Bogart who informed me about the UT rate in the first place).
