Today I was very grateful to be accepted as a friend from a very unconventional lady and earmarked. So she said, from the very top, she had asked me to do her a favour first thing, “For being a member of her accolade friends” she said. After liking my post on her wall, she said “I look forward to many rational, respectful and productive interactions, on this Facebook forum. I felt like being asked to be inconspicuous as much as possible. The same accolades groups that had previously attempted to discredit and silenced Deng A Freeman’s writing never let go. Deng was ridiculed mercilessly, and asked never on any account not to write about S.Sudanese at home or in diaspora, no matter what is going on in S.Sudan. You made my day, embrace yourself for more writing coming your way.
