Today, I watched the Undertakers removed my mother, Lucille, from the place I have known as home for all my siblings and some nieces and nephews. I saw them wrap a white sheet around my mother and placed her in a hearse (van)..............my God...........oh it pained my entire being. It felt like my entire being .............my life was pulled from me....... Mama, Oh, Mama...............you brought me into this world and oh I will ever cherish those memories .............I am oh so happy that I was given the opportunity to spend some of those last few minutes with you......... I really felt like something was about to happen and never really wanted to leave.........but, I had to go get your meds.................oh I wish I had not left.........but, I guess the Man above knew why............I came home as soon as I got the call............I came ........and saw your lifeless body...........you had just .......only a few minutes before ..............given up the spirit to your maker............your body looked so peaceful and radiant..........I just could not believe you were gone from us forever....... But, Mama, it has been said repeatedly that the Lord knows best and therefore we trust Him in all things.............at times you were in so much pain and may never wanted us to see.................He knows when and where to do His thing.............and thus today.....at 3:58 pm.................He called you home...............Home to be with Him.............in de arms of sweet deliverance...................Thank you sweet Jesus.................. Thank you Mama for being MY MOTHER...............I know you are in de arms of Jesus.........singing with the angels .......and watching over your family always............I LOVE YOU .........Lucille...........Ms. Pearl............Mama.
