Today I went to the Kendallville Public Library for the Political Forum. I was interested to hear the views of the two Republican Candidates for Prosecutor in Noble County. Only Steven Clouse was there. I grabbed a pamphlet that Eric Blackman must have had someone place on a table. As I was reading Mr. Blackmans points I realized that his pamphlet states We need to aggressively incarcerate those that pose real danger to our community. On the back of Blackmans pamphlet was a chart outlining and illustrating how many more people get put in jail in Noble County than any others around. Mr. Blackman states We must work to close the revolving door of repeat offenders by utilizing effective rehabilitation and recovery programs. Mr. Clouse has been doing this since 2006 with the Noble County Drug Court Program which was recognized recently for its success rate at a National Event. Thank you Mr. Blackman for illustrating what a great job Mr. Clouse is doing! I went to early voting and cast my vote today!
