Today I will be going to my home where I havent been since my accident where my care team as well as my self and insurance company will be figuring out exactly what changes need to be made to our home to make it completely wheelchair compatible. Most everything has been taken care of already but we are all just going through a live practice to ensure everything is ready for my arrival in just 7 days. I am excited beyond the expression of words but I must also admit Im scared to death also this is a whole new chapter in my life and also the time when me and my family will need the most support to help us get through this very difficult transition.
