Today I will start my day with a memory......My Grandaddy George was my hero. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known! He loved me unconditionally. Every time I think of him, I think of the way he called me "Baby" - he loved ice cream, butter beans and rice, Reds baseball, and arguing Clemson/Carolina football. Most of all he loved his family. He helped EVERYONE no matter the need. He worked hard, He loved harder... The day before he went to the hospital for the last time, he was cutting my grass - the night before he died, I went to the hospital to see him...it was just the two of us...he held my hand and to all the staff that came into the room, he said "this is my baby girl...she is my first grandbaby and she gave me my first great-grandbaby". I will never forget the last phone call with him just before I went to bed that night...he told me to take care of Jeff and Jeffrey and he said "I love you baby girl".....I have missed him EVERY moment since he went to be with Jesus......today, his 86th birthday....I think of him and smile.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDDADDY...your Baby Girl loves and misses you
