Today I wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving to my entire family, friends and anyone serving in any job. I so miss when I was able to help my mom fix homemade stuffing or make her special fruit salad or stand over the stove and help make chocolate pies. Mix the stuff together for her fruit punch, always remembering to make a special picture for my sister and her husband(Patty and Val Joe Brooks) and my brother (Jackie and his wife Brenda). Then when everyone came to our parents for a big pot luck dinner, mostly made by mom of course. There could be as many as 60 or more of us. It could be one of two times a year we were all together. the other being Christmas eve. Now everyone goes there way and we see them at a funeral. Take the time to call you family. HAPPY THANKSGIVING and be thankful for family and friends.
