Today, January 30th, Britax has determined that select B-AGILE and BOB MOTION strollers manufactured between March 1, 2011 and June 10, 2013 containing model numbers included at britaxstrollerrecall, pose a Partial Fingertip Amputation Hazard from the folding hinge mechanism as the consumer folds the stroller. While BRITAX does not recommend that consumers use the affected strollers until the hinge cover remedy is applied, the stroller can continue to be safely used if the consumer removes his or her hand from the frame release button and stroller frame as the consumer pulls up on the stroller release strap. Consumers, who have not registered their product or need to verify existing registration should visit britaxstrollerrecall, contact BRITAX customer service toll free at 1-866-204-1665 or email strollerrecall@britax. Free remedy kits are automatically sent out upon registration.
