Today MP Dr.Shrikant Shinde had a 3 hrs meeting with GENERAL MANAGER Central railway on issues in KALYAN LOKSBHA. 1)maintainance of all TOILETS at all stations and building of more ladie s toilets. MPLADS will be used to built toilets on major stations. 2) to raise all platform heights . 3)expedite work of KALYAN-AIROLI ROUTE . 4) NOC for PARALLEL ROAD to kalyan railways which railways have aggried to do so. 5) KALWA - a)KALWA-CST LOCAL to start b)expedite work of KALWA-KHARIGAON ROB. c)SUBWAY FOR ganpati pada. 6) RETIBUNDER SUBWAY 7) DIVA- a)ticket window on east and 4 ATVMs considered to be installed within 1 month. b)FOB extension towards kalyan through MRVC. c)Konkan railway stoppage at DIVA -holiday special d)DIVA-CST LOCAL WIL EXAMINE e)DIVA VASAI WILL get 4 EXTRA COACHES within a month. 8)DATIVLI -ticket counter facilities within a month. 9)UPPER KOPAR commuters will get landing through skywalk to dombovali west 10)THAKURLI - a)ROB and FOB to be completed ASAP b)Platform extension work started . 11)Requested for land at kalyan east for parking - railway says will examine 12)VITTHALVADI- a)ticket counter at east is considered by railways and will install it ASAP. b)FOB at vitthalvadi east side work stared and west will commence next year. 13)AMBERNATH-CST local which was extended to Badlapur will be cancelled shortly which will be beneficial to Ambernath commuters. 14) AMBERNATH CST LADIES SPECIAL(8.15am to 8.45 am) will examine . 15) shahad parking and FOB 16) KALYAN TERMINUS. Had a very fruitful discussion and will follow up when and where required.
