Today, Saturday, is Scout Apple Day. Apple Day is an annual tradition that provides the Scouting youth with an opportunity to show their appreciation to the general public for their support throughout the year. All levels of the Scouting Movement distribute apples in exchange for donation. Any money raised during Apple Day goes directly towards programming, outings, camping equipment, training and many other endeavours. So this Saturday, you will find our Scouts throughout CBRM in such locations as Prince St. Sobeys, St. Patricks Church Museum, Cape Breton Farmers Market, and Coxheath Hills Wilderness Trail.
